His most recent voyage lasted 6 months, covering 17,800 miles and visiting 10 countries. He is currently a crew member of AMURA EXPEDITIONS, where he continues to grow with commitment and professionalism.

Argentinian sailor with 65 years of experience. With more than six decades on the water, Ruben has built a distinguished sporting and nautical career across various disciplines: - Powerboating: Pilot in the T2000 category. Winner of the 6 Hours of La Plata and multiple San Fernando–Carmelo (Uruguay) competitions. Represented Argentine shipyards in Offshore competitions in Río de la Plata and Punta del Este. Experience delivering 110-foot motor yachts (Tarrab Shipyard). - Yachting: Competed as a navigator in the International Yola class. Argentine IMS Class C Champion in 1995 with the Del Plata 31 Silver Star. Winner of multiple IMS and CiC regattas (winter, autumn, and spring). Winner and Blue Ribbon in the Buenos Aires–Colonia regatta (Club San Martín) and, Vuelta Isla Gorriti regatta (Uruguay), sailing solo. Participant in the Buenos Aires–Punta del Este and Buenos Aires–Mar del Plata regattas. Sailed in the Beagle Channel (50-foot vessel) and on an 80-foot schooner from Ushuaia to Isla de los Estados and Mar del Plata. Currently active competitor in the One-Design class.

Facundo Cayetano

Argentinian sailor, proactive and skilled in teamwork, quick decision-making, and performing under pressure. He has experience as a deckhand in shipyards and on both motor and sailing vessels, complemented by technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, and lathe work. Certified helmsman for sailing and motor yachts. As a permanent crew member of AMURA EXPEDITIONS, he continues to grow while contributing dedication, professionalism, and reliability to every voyage.

International instructor with more than 20 years of experience in diving, rescue, and water sports. Originally from Argentina, she has been a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer since 2001, with extensive experience training divers at all levels and specialties, as well as supervising Divemaster internships. Specialist in first aid, water rescue, and emergency management under extreme conditions. She worked for Royal Caribbean International for over a decade as a dive instructor, shore excursions manager, and head of operations at private destinations in the Caribbean. Her experience combines training, group management, adventure tourism, and maritime safety in international environments. With sailing certifications from Argentina, the U.S., and Croatia, over 4,700 nautical miles logged, expeditions to Antarctica, and multiple ocean crossings, she brings a strong skill set both at sea and underwater. In addition, she is a certified swimming instructor and personal trainer, with training in recreation, sports nutrition, and leadership. An IAATO Antarctic Ambassador, she is passionate about outdoor education, safety, and the responsible exploration of the oceans.

Spanish, a Madrileño by choice and a mountain man at heart, Antonio de la Rosa is an international adventurer and expedition leader with more than 30 years of experience in extreme sports and adventure raids. At 19, he became the youngest firefighter in the Community of Madrid, later Spanish champion in quadrathlon, and captain of the legendary Red Bull adventure racing team, with which he achieved dozens of victories around the world. His restless spirit led him to found Meridianoraid, a benchmark company in the Spanish outdoor sector for over 15 years, and to undertake unique and epic expeditions, both on land and at sea. ACHIEVEMENTS: - First person to cross the Pacific Ocean on a paddleboard (4,700 km in 76 days, 2019). - Solo and unsupported Atlantic Ocean crossing by rowing (2014). - Completion of the Lapland Extreme Challenge in Lapland (1,000 km on cross-country skis pulling a sled, 2018). - Extreme challenges in Alaska, the Arctic, the Beagle Channel, and the Iberian Peninsula. Today, he is recognized as one of the world’s leading figures in endurance, resilience, and adventure expeditions, pushing his physical and mental limits in the most hostile environments on the planet.

Argentinian Doctor in Biological Sciences, specializing in the observation of protected species (birds, turtles, and marine mammals). Since 2009, she has taken part in nautical research campaigns in both the public and private sectors, focused on the detection, study, and conservation of cetaceans. She has also worked as an onboard biologist, giving lectures during whale-watching trips and Antarctic tourist cruises. Certified helmsman for sailing and motor yachts, with navigation experience along the coasts of Argentina and Uruguay. A dedicated member of AMURA EXPEDITIONS, she brings a deep love for the sea and for observing the animals that inhabit it.

With more than 17 years of experience in leadership and management in multicultural environments, he has been sailing since the age of 9, accumulating over 55,000 nautical miles. He received advanced training with the Argentine Navy, serving on both warships and sailing vessels. A Midshipman graduate of the Argentine Naval Academy and Electromechanical Technician from the Puerto Belgrano Naval Base. He holds international certifications including Yacht Master Ocean (PNA), STCW 95, CPR and AED, as well as SAR and amphibious logistics. Also a certified PADI Open Water diver. His background combines technical expertise, nautical skills, and leadership experience. As a crew member of AMURA EXPEDITIONS, he contributes professionalism, dedication, and commitment.
